An opening has one moment the whole evening leads up to. A humanoid robot can carry that moment: it welcomes arriving guests, hands over the product and then stands calmly ready for photographs. We set up beforehand, rehearse the sequence in the actual room and stay for the whole day.

An opening is not a trade fair

At a fair you have whole days and many chances. At an opening there is one evening, one fixed time and one moment that has to land, with guests, press and cameras in the room. So we plan more tightly here: the sequence is rehearsed in the real room, agreed with whoever is running the show and set to the minute it should happen. And because schedules do slip, the machine is prepared to wait without anyone getting nervous.

Welcoming arriving guests

At the entrance the machine greets guests, waves and says a few lines we write with you beforehand. It takes the stiffness out of arriving and immediately gives people something to talk about.

The reveal or the handover

The machine can carry the product in, hand it over or perform the gesture that marks the moment. Larger, graspable objects work well; paper, business cards and flat cards are something the hand cannot grip.

Photographs with guests and press

After the moment the machine stands still and people step in beside it. Leave some time for this part; it usually takes longer than the moment itself.

A demo of the product being launched

The machine can be wired into your own system: a voice command, a call into your software, the execution, the result reported back. Navigation, camera capture and picking up objects are possible.

What a booking includes

A setup day before the opening
We come the day before, set up the spot and walk through the sequence in the real room, with whoever is running the show if they are available.
Transport and delivery
The machines arrive in our cases and leave with us after the event. There is nothing for you to store and nothing to organise.
An operator on site all day
Someone from us is with the machine for the whole event, cues the moment and talks to guests who have questions.
The machines
Humanoids (Unitree G1, AgiBot A2 and X2, MagicLab), quadrupeds (AgiBot D1-W, Direct Drive Tech), mobile manipulators (Dobot E6 on an AMMR base, Fairino, UniX AI) plus arms and hands (Rokae X5, Universal Robots, Wuji Hand).
The act, rehearsed in advance
A video becomes a movement through pose tracking, retargeted onto the machine and rehearsed in simulation until it runs safely. Only then does it go onto the real machine.
Travel included
We travel from Germany and work across Europe. Travel is part of the price.

What you provide

Floor space in the room
A clear, level area for the machine and room in front of it for the guests watching and photographing.
Power
A reachable socket nearby. We cover the cable runs neatly so that nobody trips over them.
Network
A network connection on site, especially when the machine is connected to your system.
A defined spot
An agreed position, and a route to it that stays clear during the evening.

The run-up to the opening

FIRST STEP
First call — We talk about the occasion, the room and above all about the one moment the evening turns on.
AROUND 2 WEEKS OUT
Act and script — We settle what the machine does and says. For a custom movement a video is enough: a gesture, a choreography, a handling step on your product, and that takes about two weeks. If the machine is to be wired into your own system, we plan for around four weeks.
BEFORE WE TRAVEL
Simulation and rehearsal — The movement is retargeted onto the machine and rehearsed first in simulation, then on the real machine. If your system is involved, a remote integration test comes on top.
SHORTLY BEFORE
Run of show with your team — We agree the minute of the moment, settle the cue and name the one person who says: now.
DAY BEFORE
Setup and run-through — Setup in the venue, power and network checked, the machine's route walked and the whole sequence played through once in the real room.
OPENING DAY
Opening day and teardown — Our operator is there from setup until the end, runs the moment and stays afterwards for the photographs. Then we pack down and take everything with us.

Room, floor and power

The machine needs a level area and a route to it that stays clear even when the room is full. Smooth, freshly polished floors, high thresholds and steps are things we raise beforehand, because they change how the sequence runs; a quadruped handles uneven ground and stairs better than a humanoid does. On top of that a reachable socket, and a network connection if your own system is involved. We give you the exact power requirements and minimum areas per act before you commit: on request.

Tell us about your opening

Send us the occasion, the date, the room and the moment the evening turns on. We come back with a proposal for how the machine fits into it, and we say plainly if part of it would not work in your space. Pricing starts at EUR 3,000 per event day, including setup, transport, the operator and travel.

Questions

How long does the machine need on site?

We set up the day before the opening and play the whole sequence through once in the real room. On the day itself our operator is there several hours before the first guests, to check the spot, power, network and lighting. If a day before is not possible, tell us early: we then need considerably more lead time on the event day itself.

Can the robot be part of the reveal itself?

Yes. The machine can carry the product in, hand it over or perform the gesture that marks the moment; that is exactly what we build custom movements for. The one thing that matters is the shape of the object: larger, graspable things work, while paper, envelopes, business cards and flat cards are something the hand cannot grip. Tell us early what is being handed over and we plan around it.

What happens if the schedule slips?

We plan for that from the start. The machine waits in a quiet mode until our operator releases the moment, cued by the one person we agree with you beforehand. If the moment shifts later, nothing about the sequence changes: guests simply get a little more greeting and a few more photographs in the meantime.

Can the press film and photograph it?

Yes, gladly and with no restriction from our side. We bring the machine to a standstill for photographs and give your press contact the correct wording for captions beforehand: Vanta Machina, powered by Pulsar Robotics, along with the name of the machine on site.
