Are they welcomed, do they see your product working, do they get something handed to them, do they leave with a photo? Two-legged machines at human scale feel the most immediate, because they move like someone standing opposite you. A guest comes closer, brings a colleague over and films a minute to show their team later. That is the moment most people picture when they think about a robot at their event.

The G1 is our main machine and it performs the full programme: greeting and speaking, the boxing show, the handover, the photo moment. It walks freely on two legs, driven by reinforcement-learning policies running at 50 Hz. Above all, it is the machine our motion pipeline targets: if you can film it, it can learn it. If you settle on a single machine, this is the one.

Four-legged machines are agile, handle stairs and uneven ground, and work well next to a humanoid. Most of the time they are the second attraction, and that is exactly what they are good at.

A four-legged robot that walks over steps and uneven ground and can move among people. It works well as a second attraction beside the humanoid, for instance when a group gathers at the front and you want something for the guests further back too. It suits photos just as well as a short demonstration in between.

An arm on a moving base: the machine drives to a spot, picks something up and brings it back. This is the category for demonstrations where your own system or your own product is the point.

It lets you show a sequence that actually moves through the room: drive over, capture with the camera, pick the object up, bring it back and report the data into your system. A humanoid torso with two arms on a wheeled base. You get the human presence and the arm movement without the machine having to walk, which is calmer, needs less space and fits where things are tighter. A good choice when your space is limited but you still want a figure on the floor.

Fixed arms need little space, repeat the same sequence all day and are the simplest way to bring movement onto your floor. For close-up work and fine grasping, the hand joins in.

A dexterous hand for demonstrations where people step close and look carefully. It shows grasping in detail and works well on a table where conversations are happening. It does not change the limit on handovers: business cards and flat paper cannot be gripped, larger objects can.

Five cases we hear again and again, with our honest recommendation. If yours is not among them, just describe it to us in two sentences.
You want as many guests as possible to remember it afterwards — The Unitree G1, either as a host or with Fight Night. A walking humanoid at human scale is the thing guests bring colleagues back to see, and it is still being filmed late in the day.
Your own product or system should be the centre of it — A Live Demo with a mobile manipulator or an arm wired into your software: voice command, a call into your system, execution, data reported back. Plan on around four weeks of lead time and a remote integration test.
You want to hand something to your guests — The giveaway handover by the humanoid, with one clear limit: business cards, flyers and flat paper cannot be gripped. Choose a larger object with something to grip and it works reliably and looks good.
You want a second attraction alongside the main act — A quadruped. It handles steps and uneven ground, moves among people and gives your guests something to watch while the humanoid's act runs at the front.
You only have a small floor area — An arm in a fixed spot, or UniX AI on its wheeled base. Both need considerably less room than a walking humanoid, which wants clear floor and distance from guests. An arm brings movement into your space without anyone having to step aside.
Four things come from you, and we bring the rest: transport and travel, the setup day, the machines and an operator who is on site for the whole event day. If any of these four is difficult, tell us early, because there is usually a way around it.
Floor space — A walking humanoid needs clear floor and a little distance from guests, while an arm or a wheeled base gets by with much less. Send us a floor plan or a photo of the space and we will tell you in advance what works well there.
Power — We need power at the machine's own spot so it can charge through the day without cables crossing a walkway. At trade fairs and in many venues power is ordered through the organiser or the building, so book it in good time: it is the most common gap.
Network — For a Live Demo that reaches into your system we need reliable network access. The Wi-Fi on site is often weak in a crowded room, so we test the connection remotely beforehand and plan a fallback.
A defined spot for the machine — Set aside one defined spot where the machine stands, performs and rests between acts, ideally placed so people can watch without blocking the way past. On the setup day we need access to that spot to build everything up and run the whole act through once.
Describe your event, your space and the moment you want for your guests in two or three sentences. We will come back with a machine and an act, and we will also say so when something smaller or cheaper would serve you better. A floor plan or a photo of the space helps a lot.
Yes. We track a source video with MediaPipe pose tracking, fit the pose to a rigid body with fixed bone lengths and retarget the motion onto the Unitree G1 in simulation. There we rehearse it until it runs safely, and only then does it go onto the real machine. Plan on around two weeks for a simple custom behaviour, and around four weeks plus a remote integration test for a full link into your system.
No, and we would rather say so now than on the day: business cards and flat paper cannot be gripped by the hand. Anything larger with something to grip works reliably, though, such as a small tin, a cup, a box or a product sample. Tell us your giveaway early and we will tell you whether it works.
No. An operator of ours is on site for the whole event day, sets up the day before and looks after charging, timing and breaks. Your team can look after the conversations that come out of it. The act is rehearsed in simulation beforehand and never arrives untested.
